Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousin is the biggest loser from quarterback Aaron Rodgers' reported decision to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cousins was always Pittsburgh's best alternative if Rodgers decided to retire, and now he's basically stuck with the Falcons as their backup quarterback for the time being.

ESPN's Brooke Pryor explained in a recent article why the Steelers seem to be content waiting on QB Aaron Rodgers to sign with the team.

Aaron Rodgers is set to become the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starting quarterback this upcoming season, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Pelissero reports the 41-year-old QB has told the team that he will fly to Pittsburgh later this week to finalize a deal with the intention to start practicing with the Steelers next week.
