Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson star together in The Naked Gun, and both appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers this week to promote the movie. Unfortunately, as they lamented in an Instagram video posted by Late Night, they did not appear together. "So close yet so far," the caption of the video reads, which shows the stars distraught in slo-mo.

Anderson has long been viewed as unlucky in love thanks to her publicly messy romances with ex-husbands and musicians, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Neeson tragically lost his wife, the late Natasha Richardson, in 2009 when she died from a traumatic brain injury from a skiing accident.

The Bravo host – who was a good friend of Neeson’s late wife, actress Natasha Richardson – said during a recent episode of his SiriusXM show said that he and other friends who were a part of Richardson’s circle are “very much stanning whatever this is” between Neeson and Anderson.
