The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs are meeting in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, a dream come true for a writer who grew up in the suburbs of the city watching Andy Reid and the Eagles make deep playoff runs on a regular basis.

Reid notched his 28th career postseason win after the Chiefs’ AFC championship victory over the Buffalo Bills and is just three away from Belichick’s record of 31 for most ever for an NFL head coach. The Chiefs coach has six total Super Bowl appearances to Belichick’s nine.

Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Bill Belichick gave some words of encouragement to Andy Reid ahead of possibly 3-peating.

Reid has mastered the art of managing the big game while Sirianni has not reached that point. The Philadelphia coach has been through it and he was close on his first Super Bowl attempt. Now he must show that he has caught up to Reid. It’s a major challenge that few have been up to at this point.
