Marc Marquez beat his younger brother Alex in Saturday's sprint at the Argentina Grand Prix to extend his lead in the MotoGP championship and Francesco Bagnaia came in third as Ducati swept the podium.

Alex Marquez said that when his brother started to push harder, the Gresini rider was “nearly crashing all the corners”. For him, it’s clear “he’s able to be more on the limit in the last part of the race”, and the 0.299s pace difference average in the final five laps backs this up.

At this point in MotoGP, the competition must feel like they’re racing against a cheat code called Marc Marquez and Ducati because if there’s a trophy up for grabs, they are already polishing it.
