EA's DICE studio has blown the lid off the multiplayer for its upcoming military shooter Battlefield 6, and can join the fray today. Battlefield 6's first public beta is live right now for those with early access and will be available on two consecutive weekends. It's not too late to get join in, and here's how.

EA will be holding a second week of the beta in the coming days and it has confirmed an extra map will be available to try out. Ahead of it starting, the publisher said: “Our Open Beta has a number of maps, modes, and features for you to try across these two weekends, including the opportunity to play with Closed Weapons.”

One of Battlefield 6's most accessible features is perfect for beta newcomers who didn't have a chance to participate in its early access period.
