Billy Idol is convinced his friend Ozzy Osbourne "went out his way" following his death aged 76 but he's still "in shock" to have lost the rocker just two weeks after his huge farewell gig with Black Sabbath.

Osbourne died on Tuesday at 76, just weeks after he and Black Sabbath performed at their farewell Back to the Beginning concert earlier in July.

Singer-songwriter Billy Idol says he is "very sad to hear" about Ozzy Osbourne's death. Osbourne died on Tuesday at the age of 76.
