The Broncos have "reached out to express interest" in pending free agent Kendrick Bourne, according to a report from the Denver Gazette 's Chris Tomasson. Bourne can't officially sign with a team until the NFL's new league year begins on Wednesday, but he could reach a verbal agreement before then.
After a one-year audition, third-string quarterback Sam Ehlinger returns to Denver on a one-year deal. Ehlinger's contract is worth a team-friendly $2 million. Ehlinger was a name to watch, considering the Broncos have listened to trade offers on backup Jarrett Stidham in recent days leading up to the start of free agency on Monday.
And just like that, the top targeted running back in 2026 free agency is off the market. Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker has agreed to a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to multiple reports. The contract is worth $43.05 million ($14.35 million per year on average), according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
