NFL Analyst Predicts Jarrett Stidham Torches Patriots Defense, ‘Outduels’ Drake Maye In AFC Championship Game
If the Denver Broncos are to pull off an upset over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, most believe it’ll be because of their defense. NFL.com analyst Maurice Jones-Drew said on Friday,
Broncos backup quarterback-turned-starter Jarrett Stidham has taken time this week to remember the guy who has helped get them to this point, Bo Nix, at various times this week during practice. On Thursday, their bond was seen on display again, when members of the media watched as Stidham warmed up, seemingly shaking hands with the air.
The odds are stacked against the Denver Broncos. Bo Nix has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, and the responsibility of leading the team now falls on Jarrett Stidham.
Steve Young 's warning to Broncos backup QB Jarrett Stidham: "He’s needs to be very, very careful that he’s not the reason they lose…'
The Denver Broncos are turning the offense over to backup quarterback Jarrett "Stiddy" Stidham after losing starting quarterback Bo Nix to a season-ending ankle injury. That "Stiddy" nickname was coined by former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady when they were teammates in 2019.
Jarrett Stidham and the Broncos are in a tough situation, as the quarterback has to step in to replace the injured Bo Nix for Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
