On Thursday, their bond was seen on display again, when members of the media watched as Stidham warmed up, seemingly shaking hands with the air.

The odds are stacked against the Denver Broncos. Bo Nix has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, and the responsibility of leading the team now falls on Jarrett Stidham.

The Denver Broncos are turning the offense over to backup quarterback Jarrett "Stiddy" Stidham after losing starting quarterback Bo Nix to a season-ending ankle injury. That "Stiddy" nickname was coined by former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady when they were teammates in 2019.
