In the least surprising move of the day, the team picked up RHP Freddy Peralta’s club option for 2026, which will pay him $8 million in his final year before hitting free agency. Two mutual options — RHP Brandon Woodruff and C Danny Jansen — were declined, with Woodruff opting out of his option and the Brewers passing on Jansen’s option.
