LOS ANGELES (AP) — Marvel’s first family has finally found box office gold. “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” the first film about the superheroes made under the guidance of Kevin Feige and the Walt Disney Co., earned $118 million in its first weekend in 4,125 North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday.

The upcoming film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is not streaming on Netflix, and most likely will never be streaming on Netflix. This is due to the fact that The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a Marvel movie. Marvel is owned by Disney, and Disney movies have a streaming home on the Disney-owned streamer, Disney+.
