Heavily armed ICE and Homeland Security Investigations agents executed search warrants at two restaurants in a tree-lined San Diego neighborhood.

The San Diego Unified School District reported that it has zero confirmed reports of ICE presence on their campuses.

Since the San Diego Unified School District began taking steps in December of last year to protect students from possible Trump Administration actions, district officials said Thursday.

SAN DIEGO — Tensions remain high in San Diego after last week’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement work raids at two Italian restaurants that ended with federal agents using flash-bang grenades against residents protesting the operations. Elected officials reacted with outrage.

Community leaders protested against the recent ICE raids in San Diego. They said these raids are terrorizing immigrant workers who contribute to the local economy.

Corey Gustafson agrees it was an ugly scene when ICE agents raided Buona Forchetta last Friday, but only because of the reaction from those around the restaurant and within the Democratic Party.

Other footage of the scene shows her yelling and cursing at federal agents and engaging in the protest. On Monday, Bakersfield Christian High School said the woman is not a student, teacher, or alumna, and has no affiliation with the school or FFA chapter.
