The Buffalo Bills secured James Cook on a four‑year, $48 million extension with $30 million guaranteed on Wednesday, just eight days after the Los Angeles Rams locked in Kyren Williams on a three‑year, $33 million pact with $23 million guaranteed.

The contract dispute between the Bills and James Cook came to an official end on Wednesday when the running back put pen to paper on his four-year extension.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Cook landed at No. 8 on the list one year after falling just short as an honorable mention. He even landed a ranking as high as No. 4 from one voter.

James Cook didn't practice Sunday, and he's not planning to practice on Monday either. When asked for a reason, the Bills running back told ESPN it was "business." And now we have a hold-in situation in Buffalo.
