Missouri's governor says he will call the Legislature into a special session to consider incentives aimed at keeping the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals from moving to Kansas.

Gov. Mike Kehoe said Friday that he will call back lawmakers for a special session to consider a counteroffer that would keep both Kansas City teams in Missouri. He called it an economic development package.

Missouri’s governor is hoping to get lawmakers back in the Capitol to prevent the Chiefs and Royals from running off to Kansas.
