After a slight delay to the program due to the Dodgers and a gripping World Series finale, LACMA’s fundraiser rolled on with an emotional speech from the ‘Sinners’ director and a captivating Doja Cat performance.

Kaia Gerber and mom Cindy Crawford attended the 2025 LACMA Art + Film Gala together on Nov. 1. The mother-daughter duo wore sparkling, floor-length gowns and matching blowouts to the event in Los Angeles.

In between the North American and European legs of the Virgin Tour, Lorde made her way to Los Angeles for the LACMA Art+Film Gala —and took a piece of her on-stage wardrobe with her. Stepping up to the iconic Urban Light installation, the artist was photographed in a golden Versace ensemble with some special nods to her fourth studio album.

The move to unionize comes as LACMA nears the end of a radical redesign over a decade in the making. The $750 million David Geffen Galleries, designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, will replace four older buildings to create a single gallery structure spanning Wilshire Boulevard.

The mother-daughter duo joined the list of celebrities in attendance, including Doja Cat, Demi Lovato and Lorde.
