For Amanda Seyfried, the Peacock limited series offered a rare opportunity to play a character adapted from a book while working closely alongside the author, Liz Moore.

Seyfried plays Michaela “Mickey” Fitzpatrick, a Kensington patrol officer who discovers a string of murders in the neighborhood’s drug market. As Mickey attempts to locate the killer, and find her missing sister Kacey (Ashleigh Cummings), she confronts dark memories from her childhood spent in the neighborhood.
