Linda Lavin, the Tony-winning actor who starred in the 1970s CBS sitcom 'Alice,' died from cardiac arrest and lung cancer, according to her death certificate.

Officials have determined what killed actress Linda Lavin. The main cause of death for the “Alice” star was cardiopulmonary arrest while lung cancer was the underlying cause, TMZ was the first to report. Her death certificate also said she was cremated earlier this month after she died in December.
