The “Stranger Things” actor responded to recent scrutiny of her looks and called out the media for “bullying” and “tearing young women down.”

Actor Millie Bobbie Brown took to her Instagram handle and posted a strong video, naming and shaming some media outlets and journalists for writing articles about her appearance. Calling it “bullying”, she asserted that she won't be settling down to fit into the “unrealistic expectation” of people.

Prior to this, Matt Lucas had tweeted “yeah but no but” after quoting a tweet that compared Brown to Lucas’ Little Britain “chav” character Vicky Pollard.

The “savage swipe” in question was from Matt Lucas, who played various outlandish characters in the Noughties BBC comedy Little Britain. He had compared Brown to one of his characters, Vicky Pollard, who has an exaggerated appearance with messy blonde hair and who always wears a pink tracksuit top.
