Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that the extradition of Mumbai terror attack mastermind Tahawwur Hussain Rana is a warning to fugitives living luxuriously abroad that they will have to face justice in India.

PM Modi's 2011 post about Tahawwur Rana, targeting the UPA, has gone viral. Tahawwur Rana, linked to the 26/11 attacks, was extradited to India from the US and arrived in Delhi on April 10.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Thursday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks accused Tahawwur Rana nears his extradition to India, saying that those hiding would be brought back to the country and receive punishment.
