Insiders at artificial intelligence chipmaker Nvidia have dumped more than $1 billion in stock over the last year, according to a Financial Times report. About half of those sales occurred during the last month as the market notched new highs and shook off geopolitical tensions.

Nvidia insiders sold over $1 billion worth of company stock in the past year, with a notable uptick in recent trading activity as execs capitalize on surging investor interest in AI.

Even with growth going strong and the future looking bright, investors might wonder if buying Nvidia now, at a new high, is a good idea. The stock trades for 35 times forward earnings estimates, higher than a few weeks ago, but lower than a peak of more than 50 just a few months ago.
