More than half a dozen wildfires continued to burn across Colorado Monday, including a new fire that sparked on Sunday afternoon near Pagosa Springs.

Mandatory evacuations were issued Sunday near Pagosa Springs after a structure fire led to an “out of control” wildfire.

An out-of-control structure fire that forced evacuations in Pagosa Springs has started to be contained as fire lines held throughout Monday, according to Archuleta County officials. Updates, too, on the Lee and Stoner Mesa fires.
