Significant flooding in northern West Virginia overnight claimed the lives of at least four people, and more storms are still expected through Sunday night.

Flash flooding caused by torrential rains on Saturday killed at least three people in northern West Virginia. Officials said 2.5 to 4 inches of rain fell within about half an hour.

Up to four inches of rain fell in a 30-minute period in Ohio County on Saturday night. More rain was falling on Sunday, damaging homes and flooding roads.
