A Powerball ticket worth $138 million sold in July in Huber Heights, Ohio, has expired after no one stepped forward to claim the jackpot, according to the Ohio Lottery. The deadline was Monday, six months after the ticket was sold at a Walmart in Huber Heights.

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — A winning Powerball ticket from the Buckeye State has officially expired. On July 3, 2024, a Powerball lottery player in Huber Heights, just outside of Dayton, purchased a ticket at a Walmart Supercenter on Brandt Pike.

Saturday’s Classic Lotto jackpot is $1.5 million, while the Friday, Jan. 3 Mega Millions prize is $42 million.

The deadline has passed for a winner to claim their $138 million Powerball jackpot in Ohio. The winning ticket was sold in Huber Heights back in July. The winner had 180 days to claim their prize, but that deadline passed on Dec. 30.
