The Philadelphia Phillies appear to have avoided the worst with slugger Bryce Harper. Paul Casella of MLB.com reported that Harper doesn't believe he is heading to the injured list but that he is "super day-to-day" as he recovers from an elbow injury he suffered when he was hit by a pitch.

Rafael Marchán has struggled so far this season, but he homered and threw out two players to help the Phillies beat the Braves in Game 1 of a doubleheader Thursday.
