The severe weather threat in the Philadelphia region is over, but the storms left behind plenty of damage and knocked out power for thousands in the Delaware Valley on Thursday night. Crews were out working right afterward,

PECO says nearly 300,000 customers lost power during the storm. However, as of Friday morning, it's down to 158,000.

Severe storms on Thursday afternoon ripped up trees and pulled down power lines from the Philly suburbs to the Jersey shore, leaving thousands without power.
