Wantaway star Rashford has attracted interest during the January transfer window after expressing his desire to depart Old Trafford in December. After he was left out of the matchday squad to face Manchester City, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter that he was "ready for a new challenge and the next steps" - hinting at a move away.

Al-Ahli could make a move for Rashford at the end of the transfer window, and if Rashford does end up at Al-Ahli, he’ll be surrounded by a few familiar faces. Indeed, Al-Ahli have a few players already in their squad who have played Premier League football.

However, Rashford has unsurprisingly not made the trip to Romania for the match on Thursday night. The forward’s last appearance for United came in the Europa League, when he played for 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen.
