A police tactical team is now at the complex in the 2700 block of Orchard Lane in the Willowcreek neighborhood with crisis negotiators called in to contact the suspect barricaded inside one of the residences, Sacramento police said just after 6 a.m.

A standoff between Sacramento Police Department officers and an armed person barricaded in an apartment complex continues after it first started Thursday night. Officers are along Orchard Lane near West El Camino Avenue in the Willow Creek neighborhood.
