Seth Lugo and the Royals are finalizing a new contract extension, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Sunday night. The club has not confirmed the deal. Lugo has been a top-of-the-rotation starter for Kansas City since he signed there as a free agent in 2023.
