Tens of millions of Americans from the Midwest to the Southeast are going to have another tense week as concerns grow that the US could be rocked by another multiday severe

National Weather Service said confidence continues to increase about the possibility of severe weather this weekend in Alabama. All modes of severe weather will be on the table, including tornadoes, damaging winds and heavy rain.

The death toll could rise further as a cold front moves toward the East Coast, bringing fierce winds. Tornado watches were in effect for parts of Florida, Georgia and five other states until Sunday afternoon.
