US President Donald Trump has said he will slash the 50-day deadline he gave for Russia’s Vladimir Putin to reach a ceasefire with Ukraine by weeks, to just “10 or 12 days” from now.

The U.S. president said he is “very disappointed” in Russia’s leader.

"I'm going to reduce that 50 days that I gave him to a lesser number," Trump said as he met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

President Trump and the European Union have announced a trade deal following Mr. Trump's meeting with EU president Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday in Scotland. CBS News' Natalie Brand has the latest, while Koen Verhelst,
