Walgreens Boots Alliance ($WBA) stock was up 0.43% in after-hours trading on Wednesday ahead of the pharmacy chain’s first-quarter earnings results, lifting retail sentiment. Walgreens announced it was closing a dozen stores in San Francisco because of what it called "increased regulatory and reimbursement pressures" in the latest round of retail store closures in the city.
