Wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, the son of future Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and wide receiver Kaydon Finley, the son of former Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, both committed to the Notre Dame the day after July 4th.

In 2026, the Fighting Irish will have the sons of four NFL stars just in their wide receiver room. There's Fitzgerald, whose father Larry is one of the best wide receivers in football history. Jerome Bettis Jr. is a part of the group. His father, Jerome Sr., was known as "The Bus" as a powerful running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

No wide receiver in NFL history has come closing to touching the records set by Jerry Rice than Larry Fitzgerald. But while his legacy as an all-time will soon be solidified with a bust in Canton, his son is going to continue the Fitzgerald family name in college football.
