A recent bold prediction has the Detroit Tigers making a big splash in free agency this year by signing Alex Bregman.

Once again, All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman will test the free agent market this offseason after being unable to land a long-term contract last offseason. Bregman settled for a three-year, $120 million deal with the Boston Red Sox that included opt outs after each season.
