Can't Update Google Chrome? Here Are A Few Fixes To Try - MSN
To update Chrome, all you really need to do is launch the app and head to More > Help > About Google Chrome. The software will automatically start downloading and installing the updates.
Select Help Click About Chrome Chrome will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, it will download and install it. Click Relaunch to complete the update process.
Once this has completed, hit the restart button. The July 18 security update will bring your Chrome browser version to 115.0.5790.98 for Mac and Linux and 115.0.5790.98/99 for Windows.
