Prior to Friday's Royals-White Sox game being suspended in the top of the ninth inning in a 2-2 tie, first baseman Eric Hosmer was among the Royals players to support their manager on that point.

In the aftermath of Thursday's brawl between the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field, six players have been suspended and a seventh has been fined for their roles.
