Mayor Karen Bass is facing two main challengers from opposite ends of the political spectrum: Nithya Raman, a liberal City Council member and former ally of the mayor, and Spencer Pratt, a Republican reality television star whose house burned in the Palisades fire.

California’s 30th Congressional District includes Burbank, Glendale and West Hollywood. And as a result of redistricting, which California voters approved in a special election last year, the district picked up an area north of the San Fernando Valley, including Acton and Agua Dulce.
