According to Dan Woike of The Athletic, Doncic, through his manager Lara Beth Seager, said three words to put a button on the trade. “He's moved on” Seager said to The Athletic. Also, Woike wrote about how difficult it was for Doncic following the Lakers' loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round of the playoffs.

The Lakers are hiring Jeremy Holsopple as their new head strength and conditioning coach, @TheSteinLine has learned. As Dallas’ athletic performance director, Holsopple was named as the NBA's top strength and conditioning coach in March 2021.
