Microsoft has reportedly been pushing Windows 10 users to use the Chromium Edge browser even if they don't want to. For those who don't want the browser on their device, there is a way to remove it.

After user backlash, Microsoft removed the “Edge uninstall” document, which contained instructions on how to uninstall the browser but only had text promoting it, as Windows Latest reports.

Microsoft also prevents people from uninstalling or disabling certain apps and experiences on Windows 11, such as Microsoft Edge and Bing in search. But that's about to change for users in Europe.
