Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made it clear Tuesday that there is no guarantee he will play in back-to-back games at any point this season.
James was a second-team All-NBA selection last season and finished sixth in the MVP voting as he appeared in 70 games and averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists in 34.9 minutes per night. His production has fallen to 21.7 PPG, 5.4 RGP and 6.8 APG so far this season.
When asked about his status for the Spurs game on Wednesday, James confirmed he is currently “TBD,” meaning to be determined. The 21-time All-Star also stated that this will be the case for him the rest of the way when it comes to back-to-back games.
The Los Angeles Lakers may not have yet decided whether LeBron James will be playing in back-to-backs down the stretch of his historic 23rd NBA season.
