The Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) are still the only team above .500 in the NFC East after beating the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football. The Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1) got a win out of their bye, while the Washington Commanders (3-8) lost in Spain and the New York Giants (2-9) lost to the San Francisco 49ers.

A Cowboys win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night started another round of wishcasting 4-5-1 Dallas into the playoff conversation. The Raiders are one of the NFL's worst teams and played like it on Monday night. Dallas' list of wins this season looks like the top of the 2026 NFL Draft order: Giants, Jets, Commanders, Raiders.

There will be rain in the Seattle area for much of the day, though it should not be too heavy. The Seahawks have one of the best passing attacks in the league with Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading the way, and they got better by adding Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. Substantial rain will likely push them to run the ball more.

Again, according to NFL.com, the Eagles currently have a 41% chance of getting the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Only the Rams (8-2) have a better chance, at 42%. It should be noted that the Eagles beat the Rams 33-26 on Sept. 21, so the Eagles would have the first tiebreaker should both teams finish with the best record in the NFC.
