Donald Trump wrote to Israeli President Isaac Herzog and urged him to legally pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who’s facing charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.

President Trump sent Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, an official request to pardon Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption.

Trump has repeatedly intervened in Israel's judicial system and domestic politics over Netanyahu's ongoing trial.
