On Tuesday, three-time All-Star reliever Edwin Diaz reportedly signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers after spending seven seasons with the Mets.

In a little more than 24 hours, the Mets have seen first baseman Pete Alonso and closer Edwin Díaz, two key pieces from their run to the 2024 NLCS, sign elsewhere.

“I'll probably sell, honestly, if people even want them,” said longtime season ticket holder Chris Blumenstetter of Massapequa.
