The Massachusetts police oversight board has decertified four former State Police troopers and two municipal officers, revoking their licenses to work in law enforcement over a range of misconduct both on and off the job.

Police arrested a Bainbridge Township man at 8 p.m. Feb. 18 within a half-mile of his home for driving while intoxicated.

The personnel move followed an investigation that surfaced inappropriate text messages on his work phone, according to three D.C. police officials.

Someone stole a package from a man’s porch at about 3 p.m. Feb. 19. He reported it to a police detective Feb. 28. The value of the theft totaled $559.66. There is no suspect at this time. Someone was caught on a Nest home security camera going through a resident’s vehicle at about 10 p.m. Feb. 24.

Charges are expected to be filed soon connected to the deaths of two young girls found dead earlier this week buried in suitcases.
