The Boston Red Sox have added seven non-roster invitees to the team’s 2026 Spring Training roster: catcher Jason Delay; infielder Vinny Capra; right-handed pitchers Osvaldo Berrios, Hobie Harris, and Devin Sweet;
1. Ryan Watson, RHP: The Red Sox acquired the 28-year-old righty soon after the Athletics selected him in the Rule 5 Draft. He’s subject to the same Rule 5 Draft guidelines, meaning he must remain on Boston’s 26-man roster for the entire 2026 season (barring an IL stint) or be placed on waivers.
The Red Sox will host seven top prospects at their annual Rookie Development Program next week at Fenway Park.
