Syracuse, N.Y. — The Jamesville-DeWitt boys volleyball team is bulling its way toward the peak of its division as the postseason draws near. The Red Rams (13-0) crawled up one spot to No. 2 in Division II in this week’s New York Volleyball Coaches Association state poll.

Unbeaten Maury heads the field so far in the Class 5 Region B girls volleyball rankings, which were released Friday. Thequarterfinals will take place Saturday at Maury. Each team has one match remaining in the regular season, with the currentmatchups reading:

No. 5-ranked Parkston has won eight of its last nine matches, with victories over Burke, Wagner, Ethan, and Bon Homme twice. The lone loss came at the hands of Winner in the Southeastern South Dakota Conference tournament championship on Oct. 25 in Platte, who jumped into the No. 5 spot in this week’s Class A rankings.

The Trophy Club Byron Nelson volleyball team, ranked No. 1 in the nation, continued its bid for an undefeated season with three-set sweeps of Northwest
