The streaming service known for 'Hacks' and 'The Pitt' has introduced a paid sharing feature to crack down on freeloaders.

Warner Bros. Discovery is hoping to scour up additional revenue from Max subscribers who have been piggybacking off of someone else’s account. On Tuesday, Max launched the Extra Member Add-On feature,

The company is one of the latest to roll out a password-sharing crackdown, which is meant to decrease the number of streaming households sharing accounts. Customers are urged to get their own subscriptions, pay an extra member fee or be prohibited from accessing streaming accounts if they live in a different location.
