WhatsApp, which has spent the past several months, explaining to users the planned terms and privacy policy update, has reiterated what happens to users who don’t agree to the new terms by May 15.

As reported by CNN Business, WhatsApp is now postponing its privacy policy update amid arising online backlash from users in line with confusion on what kind of data it shares with Facebook.

Eventually, WhatsApp will begin to remind users to review and accept its updates to keep using WhatsApp. According to its prior announcement, it won’t be enforcing the new policy until May 15.
