Warriors Get Huge Jonathan Kuminga Free Agency Update on Monday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The NBA offseason has now reached August and while many of the top names have already signed new contracts in free agency, one key storyline has continued to dominate the summer thus far.

Jonathan Kuminga’s contract impasse with the Warriors technically started in late June, when the forward entered free agency after Golden State tendered him a $7.9 million, one-year qualifying offer.

Per the San Francisco Standard's Tim Kawakami, the Golden State Warriors don't plan to trade Kuminga this summer and he'll be on the team's roster to star the season. Kawakami noted that Kuminga's pathways back to the Warriors are to accept the team's offer or to take the $7.9 million qualifying offer that Golden State extended to him.
