Banchero, Franz Wagner and Suggs have played just one game together since November. The Magic just do not have the firepower to make up for basically never having their three best scorers on the floor together. As it stands, Orlando is clinging to the East's No. 8 seed and leads No. 9 Atlanta by just half of a game in the loss column.

Jalen Suggs has a left knee injury that will sideline him indefinitely, the latest ailment to stall what had been the Orlando guard’s promising season.

Suggs, who acknowledged Saturday that surgery was an option after he had been ruled out indefinitely, is expected to make a full recovery, the Magic said.

Magic officials initially labeled Suggs’ injury as a quadriceps bruise, and Suggs revealed that he was close to clearing the final hurdles to return to play. But after a workout last Tuesday, his knee swelled, and he felt discomfort. That prompted an MRI, which revealed the trochlea injury.
