NEW YORK (AP) — Two-time Grammy Award-winning musician Chuck Mangione, who achieved international success in 1977 with his jazz-flavored single “Feels So Good” and later became a voice actor on the animated TV comedy “King of the Hill,” has died. He was 84.

In his signature fedora, he gained wide popularity and 14 Grammy nominations, winning the award twice, while scaling Billboard’s charts in the 1970s and ’80s.

Chuck Mangione is well-known in the music world for being a top-tier trumpeter, flugelhorn player and composer. But reports surfaced on Thursday that he had passed away at the age of 84. The report came from TMZ,

The family of Chuck Mangione is deeply saddened to share that Chuck peacefully passed away in his sleep at his home in Rochester, New York on July 22, 2025."

Mangione was a jazz musician known for his hit "Feels So Good." He was also known for playing himself on the sitcom "King of the Hill."
