The Cincinnati Reds signed pitcher Keegan Thompson to a major league deal on Tuesday afternoon.

As the Reds begin crafting their plans for the 2026 season, Cincinnati has made a major league addition to their bullpen.

After leaving the Chicago Cubs earlier this offseason, Keegan Thompson has signed a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Reds.

The Reds are facing free agent decisions on several of their own pitchers: Zack Littell, Nick Martinez, Emilio Pagán, and Wade Miley. Tony Santillan, Graham Ashcraft and Connor Phillips are their top returning leverage relievers.
